Made in italy

We pride ourselves on being 100% made in Italy. We source all of our leather through Zerolab Firenze, the first leather upcycling hub in Italy, and we work exclusively with independent artisans and family owned factories to produce all of our bags.

Even our linings are sourced from fabrics left over from fashion production, of which there are millions of meters sitting in warehouses across Italy.

At Sieme we believe that local production = more sustainable production for both people and planet.

Zerolab Firenze

Co-founded by Cassandra Kane

The first leather upcycling center in Italy. Zerolab works with luxury brands and factories to repurpose leather offcuts and overstock that would otherwise be discarded. Zerolab also acts as a community hub, supporting artisan brands, hosting leather craft workshops and vocational training programs for the local industry.

Local Italian Factories

Did you know that legally only 10% of a product needs to be made in Italy for it to be labeled as such? It may seem harmless but these types of practices can lead to decreased value, wages and overall earning power for 100% made-in-Italy manufacturers.

We pride ourselves on working with 100% Italian manufacturers. From our weavers to our assembling factories, all of our manufacturers are local, a commitment that supports our adopted home and reduces emissions overall.
